Using the Docker Image

The Rocketgraph xGT Docker image is maintained at hub.docker.com under the two names rocketgraph/xgt and rocketgraph/nonroot-xgt.

The rocketgraph/xgt image uses root as the id of the process running Rocketgraph xGT. The rocketgraph/nonroot-xgt image creates a system user called xgtd and runs the Rocketgraph xGT application using that user id.

Both images are identical in every other respect.

All examples in this document will show using the nonroot-xgt Docker image.
